How Brainiac Media helped helping rhinos with a website rebuild which will help reach more people and spread the word to help an endangered species from extinction 

Helping Rhinos is a UK and USA based charity working to save the rhino from extinction through strategic partnerships and vital work in the field.

The brief

To improve the user experience on the website to encourage donations and adoptions for the charity, while building backend functionality to take renewable donations and auto generated adoption certificates. The ability to report and track data points on projects the charity works with.

What we did

Website Rebuild & Redesign 

Our web development and web design team rebuilt and designed a bespoke website for Helping Rhinos - mapping the user experience and designing a user interface that incorporated clear navigation and calls to action to encourage more charity donations and adoptions online. 

Bespoke Backend Web Development & Ecommerce Store

The web development team designed, architected and developed the backend and frontend functionality and ecommerce store, to handle more website traffic to cope with the increased website traffic and donations. The team also bespokely developed the backend functionality that takes donations and produces auto generated adoption certificates - to automate this function to save the charity time and manual resources, through smart machine automation.

Software Development

The latest Helping Rhino project has seen the need for our software developers to bespokely write a new reporting system for the charity’s partner projects; so that they can track, monitor and review the project data easily.

The end result

This has enabled the charity to form more partnerships, to help more projects across Africa to help save the rhino. As a result the charity have now been able to move away from manual management of this data via spreadsheets. This data is now collated in one online reporting management system that their partners can also access.
